A Beautiful Weekend
We did it! Two days of yard sale for the DOGS and it was very successful. We set up at 6am yesterday and today - the front yard of the studio was covered with tables and we had two tents in the driveway for clothing, shoes, and handbags. WE HAD A BLAST!
The icing on MY cake is that Zoe, my foster dog, was adopted at the yard sale! A lovely lady that is a supporter of our group fell in love with her and took her home — and made the decision this morning to add her to the family. I’m so very, VERY happy for Zoe.
It was a fun weekend and I loved seeing the studio work so hard for homeless animals. The studio cats even enjoyed the activity! I love the idea of using all my resources for the causes I believe in. Sometimes we can help in ways that make a huge difference but cost us very little personally. Creative thought can pay off in a lot of ways!
